Jumpman Two Three

http://www.jdayent.com/Blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/300px-Jumpman_logo_011.jpg Michael Jordan's career will come full circle  this coming  Saturday, September 12th, in this year of our lord, two thousand and nine. Before we witnessed King James, there was another two three. Jordan holds no less than six championship rings, an Olympic gold medal, and countless signature shoes. Of course the J-Double-M clipped and compiled the best of the Jumpman. Click on the links below, but make sure you check out the History of Flight, it has all the J's released in order. White on white releases, with some real nice Adobe flash work, they put some effort into this. Real decent... Say no More....

Designed by Peter Moore and released in 1985, the Air Jordan I pair of sneakers was considered a breakthrough in basketball shoe design. The shoe initially gained a great deal of publicity and interest when the National Basketball Associationdisallowed usage of the shoe during games because its vibrant black and red color violated the league's uniform rules and fined Michael Jordan five thousand dollars every time he wore the shoes during a game.

Roy Lichtenstein... Self Described Industrial Painter

Roy Lichtenstein is an artist that's been around for a minute. He's widley known for his "Classic Comic Book" style and is usually branded as "Pop-Art". I've seen his work plenty of times but never really registered a face and a name with the work. I recently bumped into his themes when I was doing the Airtrix airbrushed helmet post. There was a helemet with a Roy Lichtenstein inspired theme. As always, we aim to compile the compelling, so I Spider-Man'd the web and unearthed content for you. So click on the links, google your noodle and post a comment or two. Also there are a few links that can guide you to a few diffrent sites regarding the artist. I have also clipped the wikipedia opening description and pasted it below.
Roy Fox Lichtenstein (October 27, 1923 – September 29, 1997) was a prominent American pop artist, his work heavily influenced by both popular advertising and the comic book style. He himself described Pop art as, "not 'American' painting but actually industrial painting".

It's hard to read but the caption below the frame shown above says this piece is named "Crak"
and was one of the works boosted from the Abergs Musem.

HOLOGRAM 3-D TV

I don't know how I stumbled on this, but it's absolutely amazing. It reminds me of something strait out a Star Wars flick. Like when they communicate using hologram presence. Any which way, the article I read next to this picture was short, but it did mention that they want to move the technology over to television, movies and more.

So this is my vision. Madden 2015 Hologram 3D...  Picture playing with an all encompassing 3D view of a stadium. Now that's an advancement of technology I'm waiting for.

Airtrix Airbrush Art

As promised the J-Double-M delivers the hardest Art in any shape form or fashion. A few months ago I was lurking on the Nitro Circus web site after I caught an episode on MTV featuring those maniacs back flipping monster trucks, and rail grinding four wheelers.

Any which way, while webbin' on the site, I saw a bad ass helmet with an eagle on it and eventually I linked up to the Airtrix site. Airtrix is usually recognized for their work on Moto-X and other racing helmets. However, all of their art work is stellar and praise worthy. So naturally, when I was thinking of art to present on the Blog, the Airtrix pieces came to mind... I insist  you visit the AirTrix site and click on the artwork tab, they have bikes, Logos, Helmets and other things, and they are all bad ass.

Air who? Air Yeezy...

Air Jordan Yeezys
I know this might be late to press for some, but I'm rushing to put a collage of interesting topics on the J-Double-M.
The shoes pictured were brought to my attention via the Kanye West blog. Of couse, this shoe is designed and promoted by Artist/Producer Kanye West.
I immediatley fell in love with the gray ones pictured on the top. After searching the web for pictures, I found that the black and green ones glow with some sort of LED. Now that's just dope. However, the feedback I've received from just about everybody is that they are to gaudy, too astronautish or just too ugly. I haven't seen them up close and personal, so I'm still on the fence. I will say that my artistic instinct tells me they are not for just anyone.... We all know only certain people can pull of certain looks.
The list price for the Yeezy is $245.00, but the street price is anywhere from 95.00 to a buck fifty....
Below I clipped some links if you want to read about them from other sources. There was certainly no shortage of Air Yeezy "Official Knock Off" sites...

The shot below depicts another bloggers opinion in where Kanye got his inspiration from for the shoe.

Nano Technology shapes the future

Anybody reading J-Double-M will soon find that there is an intimate passion for technology.
The Article I linked to below discusses Nano Technology and sciences ability to make the small smaller.
A clip from the article says "Intel's processors and transistors are about to hit 32 nanometers in size (fun fact: a single hair strand is roughly 80,000 nanometers in width)." Imagine a Moto Paper Thin Razor, a Desktop Dell PC the size of a Rubix cube... Nano technology means better, faster, stronger harder gadgets!

The Mouse buys Marvel

Disney just closed a deal worth aprox. 4 bizzillion dollars that aquires all of Marvels assists and licesing. My instinct tells me it's the stable of potential blockbuster movie charecters that Disney covets. However I just read an article that points out Disneys interest in the video game realm.

Here are a few articles covering the Mouses recent aquisition:

First Things First

Jack Moss Here....On the scene, reporting live from nowhere. This is to be the first of many posts on the Jack Moss Media Blog.. (Translation = First post means nobody's reading this.).Never the less,  I was working on the Blogs 500 word or less description and I had a hard time nailing down everything I wanted to cover in the blog. I feel like there is nothing that's off limits as long as it's compelling and captivating. When I'm spider manning the web, i have the attention span of geriatric gerbels.  So in turn, I will keep the post short, and to the point, with pictures and paragraphs on point.

So with that being said, the goal of the Jack Moss Media Blog is to compile the compelling, package and deliver it to you. Please follow me, subscribe, leave comments, email me, suggest topics, and give feed back!

I give you....    jackmossmedia.blogspot.com
